Account information — your email address and authentication details, managed through our auth provider.
Billing information — handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference and your plan/status, but we do not store or see your full card number.
Preferences — such as whether you receive the weekly research digest.
Usage data — basic technical and usage information (e.g., pages requested, device/browser type) to operate and improve the Service.
Watchlist — stored on your device by default; synced to your account only if you use synced features.
2.How we use information
We use your information to provide and secure the Service, process subscriptions, send the weekly research digest and important account or transactional messages, respond to your requests, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.
3.Service providers
We share limited information with trusted providers who process it on our behalf, under their own terms and privacy policies:
Supabase — authentication and database.
Stripe — payment processing.
Resend — sending email (the digest and account messages).
Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
4.Cookies and sessions
We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate the Service securely. We do not use them to sell your data.
5.Email and unsubscribe
If you have a paid plan, you receive the weekly research digest by default. Every digest includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and you can turn it off anytime from your account. We may still send you essential account and transactional emails (e.g., billing receipts).
6.Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as tax and payment records).
7.Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide notice.
